NJ Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance

The NJ Emergency Rescue Mortgage Assistance program (ERMA) is currently providing up to $35k in assistance for homeowners who’ve experienced hardships or increased expenses due to the pandemic.

City of Trenton 1st Time Homebuyer Program

The First Time Homebuyer Program was created to promote homeownership for low and moderate-income homeowners. Eligibility for financial assistance is based on several factors, including income, mortgage loan terms, and interest rates.

Financial assistance can help cover the costs associated with home buying, such as your down payment or closing costs.

Mercer County Rental Assistance

In response to the ongoing pandemic, Mercer County has extended its Emergency Rental Assistance Program to April 5th.

This program hopes to help individuals and families who have been financially impacted by COVID-19. To receive financial assistance, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements. Please click the link to learn about this program, along with elgibilty criteria.

Trenton Repair Funding Program

Trenton has just launched a housing repair program that will provide up to $5,000 to homeowners who require urgent home repairs. 

Financial assistance will be given to qualifying recipients in the form of a grant. The funds have to be used on home repairs that threaten the safety and/or health of the homeowner such as, heating or electrical issues. Funds can also be used for accessibility improvements like ramps or grab bars in the shower.
